Are You Looking for Nutrcracker Ballet Ornaments to Decorate Your Christmas Tree With?

nutcracker-suiteThe Nutcracker Ballet is a timeless Christmas tradition that delights young and old with the story of Clara, the little girl and her beloved Nutcracker Prince. The tale begins on Christmas Eve with two little children, Clara and Fritz, receiving fantastic, life-size toys created by Herr Drosselmeyer. The toymaker gives Fritz a beautiful soldier, and Clara gets the Nutcracker Prince. Her brother gets jealous and breaks the Nutcracker in front of her. Drosselmeyer repairs the toy and tells Clara that he needs rest under the Christmas tree. While everyone else is asleep, Clara sneaks downstairs and falls asleep next to her Prince, holding him in her arms and she drifts into her dreams.

Through the magic of Christmas, Clara awakes to find her Nutcracker Prince battling the Mouse King, exploring the Land of Sweets where she meets the Sugar Plum Fairy. As a reward for defeating the Mouse King, the Sugar Plum Fairy shows them several dances, including the Waltz of the Flowers.

Because of this tried and true tradition, Nutcracker ballet ornaments are highly sought after. The most famous of them all is the Nutcracker Prince himself. In many homes, he is one of the great symbols of the holiday season.

Clara, the young girl, delights all ages with her youth and innocence. Her ornament reflects a sweet, loving girl that is devoted to her Prince. The age of imagination is revitalized in her story.  Clara is left with the Nutcracker doll and wonderful memories of her most magical Christmas.

The Sugar Plum Fairy has also become just as popular as the Nutcracker himself. She has an ethereal appeal, a light that radiates from within her. The Sugar Plum Fairy is one of the most notable characters because she brings the romance to Christmas. Little girls want to be her, twirling around and pretending they are a princess as well.

The Mouse King brings the important element of struggle in the story, the battle between good and evil. Without him, Clara and the Nutcracker wouldn’t have discovered the Land of Sweets.

These four characters are the most popular in the Nutcracker story because of what they offer those that know and love the story: Love, innocence, giving, devotion. These ornaments will bring back the memories and feelings of Christmas over and over again.
